“We hold these truths to be self-evident.” So begins a passage from the Declaration of Independence that affirms the equality of all people. Today, 244 years after the foundational document of America was composed, we strive to become the country our founders dreamed we could be. In this video, the friars of St. John the Baptist Province remind us that our aspiration can become the inspiration for a better tomorrow.
