statue of St. Francis

Outside the San Damiano monastery in Assisi, Italy, a statue of St. Francis looks out over the beautiful Umbrian valley.

Celebrating Francis during a pandemic

Although we can’t gather in large groups this year, friars around the Province of St. John the Baptist are planning to celebrate the Feast of St. Francis in creative and safe ways. Please join them as they honor their founder, St. Francis of Assisi.

SOLEMN NOVENA in HONOR of ST. FRANCIS of ASSISI

It’s not too late to pray the Solemn Novena to St. Francis with us. Day one began on September 25 and the novena continues through October 3, culminating on his feast day, October 4. Each day you will receive an email with a video reflection and prayer. Use the form below to sign up. If you want to pray the days that you missed, visit our St. Francis Novena page here.
