A grand time was had by all, including the many friars in attendance, at Roger Bacon High School’s 34th annual Evening for Excellence on April 30.

All proceeds from the event benefit the students of Roger Bacon, helping to provide scholarships, supporting educational programs and sustaining the strong tradition of Franciscan education. During his remarks prior to the opening prayer, Fr. Roger Lopez, director of Community Outreach, said, “On behalf of St. John the Baptist Province, we thank you for helping our young women and men to surrender to the Lord and grow in holiness. Let us pray for our children.”
